There’s a big lie out there that marketing has a creative pecking order, where B2C brands get to come up with innovative, cutting-edge work – and B2B marketers get to copy it. But this doesn’t stack up when you look at what B2B campaigns are capable of, given the freedom to push creative boundaries. Since I first started studying marketing, I’ve noticed that it’s often B2B that shows our industry at its most creative and pioneering. And that’s been true for the best part of a century.
