You’ve told us what you want, what you really, really want

Last month, we asked readers of our blog to tell us about the content they’d like to see more of from LinkedIn Marketing Solutions in 2017. Thank you to everyone who took our quick survey telling us about the subjects you want us to cover – and how you would like us to cover them. You’ve given us a great basis for planning our blog strategy for this year. Now it’s over to us to make sure we hold up our end of the bargain – and give you the content you’ve asked for.
What does that mean for our blog? It means we’ll be giving you more how-to guides, which 42% of you said you’d like to see more of. Latest industry news and thought leadership were high on the agenda too.
You can look forward to more infographics and eBooks from us this year – since that’s what 35% of you (for infographics) and 20% (for eBooks) said you’d like to see more often.
We also asked what tactics you're using most within your marketing strategy. We were happy to hear that 77% of you are using content marketing, 44% are using paid social media advertising and 33% are using influencer marketing.
When it comes to marketing priorities, it's no surprise that 40% of you said generating leads is the most important. Driving awareness came in second (24%) and measuring content effectively was a close third (19%).
From our point of view, the most satisfying stat in the survey was the fact that four out of five of you say that you’d recommend our blog to others. That's great news – because delivering content that’s valuable and worth sharing is what we’re here to do. The answers you gave to our survey will help us make sure that we keep doing it.
