Enter to Win an Awesome New Marketing Book in Our Holiday Giveaway!

December 2, 2019

There’s no better time than the holiday season to curl up with a new book and lose yourself in its pages. Short days, chilly weather, and plenty of downtime create the perfect setting for time spent with an essential read you’ve had sitting on the shelf.

Or, perhaps you’re still looking for that next great book to dive into. If so, our team at LinkedIn is here to help. Today we are excited to kick off our holiday book giveaway contest. Here’s your chance to snag one of the hottest books for marketers … free!

Read on to learn how you can enter the #LinkedInHolidayReads contest and score yourself some reading material for the merry days ahead.

How to Enter the #LinkedInHolidayReads Contest

It’s very simple: Tune into the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Page over the next two weeks. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, you’ll find a new marketing-focused question presented for our audience. All you need to do to enter, is add a comment to that post with your answer. You’ll then be entered in a random drawing, and we’ll announce the winner on the same post’s comment on the final day of the contest. Note that you can also enter to win a sales book by taking the same steps over at the LinkedIn Sales Solutions Page. (Scroll down for full contest rules and stipulations.)

For each day of the marketing book giveaway, we’ll be giving away five copies of one of these excellent works from authors you might recognize:

Lifescale, by Brian Solis: In a world full of noise, Brian delivers a set of techniques, exercises, and thought experiments to help you cut through the distractions and find your creative focus.

Momentum, by Shama Hyder: Demystify the complex digital marketing landscape, and understand how to prioritize key opportunities, with this actionable read from Zen Media’s CEO.

Mean People Suck, by Michael Brenner: Drawing from his vast experience in leadership roles across various organizations, Michael offers a framework for using empathy to improve collaboration and productivity.

Break the Wheel, by Jay Acunzo: A fierce critic of “best practices” as a general concept, Jay provides an example-filled guide for generating exceptional work on your own terms.

Experiences: The 7th Era of Marketing, by Robert Rose and Carla Johnson: There’s so much buzz these days about “content experiences,” but what does the term truly entail? Two of the foremost thought leaders in content marketing spell it out in this roadmap for success in the new era.

Everybody Writes, by Ann Handley. This is the oldest book on our list, but it’s just — to borrow a phrase from the book’s extended title — ridiculously good content. Even seasoned writers will find helpful tips and advice in this essential handbook.
