We asked best-selling author Carla Johnson a simple question, Why do an increasing number of companies use content marketing?
And she gave us a simple answer: “Because it works. When you do it right, it works.”
Which raises the question, How is content marketing done right? Johnson has an answer for that question, too.
"If you are actually serving the customer and having empathy for their situation, what you want to do is you want to help them," she says. "In order to help them, you provide information, you provide education, you learn how to bring them through that customer journey, answer their questions, and help them be better at what they do."
