Highlights from LinkedIn’s Inaugural EducationConnect 2014

On Tuesday, October 28th in our NY offices at the Empire State Building, LinkedIn held its first ever EducationConnnect 2014, an exclusive event for higher education marketers.

The theme for the day was “Connect, Educate, Inspire” as attendees were treated to a full day of social media insights and best practices from marketing leaders at Kellogg School of Management, Bentley University, Kaplan University, University of North Carolina, and 2U.

The key takeaway from the event was clear: higher education marketers must connect and build relationships with prospective students on social media by delivering an always-on educational content strategy that inspires them to take action.
