LinkedIn Appoints Industry Veteran Penry Price VP of Global Sales, Marketing Solutions

We are a company known for helping companies build great teams, but we are doing a bit of building ourselves with the addition of world-class leadership to our Marketing Solutions team.
Today we announce the appointment of Penry Price as the vice president of Global Sales for Marketing Solutions. In his new post, Penry will play a significant role as we usher in the next major wave of growth for our advertising business.
Penry comes to LinkedIn with deep knowledge and passion for the advertising ecosystem. From his leadership positions at Google, and most recently Dstillery, Penry has worn many hats, providing him with a skillset that is aligned with our goals for Marketing Solutions.
Penry’s addition reinforces our commitment to strengthen the way brands and agencies connect with our unique audience. As the Marketing Solutions global sales leader, he will be instrumental in developing the priorities that will allow us to build the strategic partnerships needed to raise awareness and drive revenue for LinkedIn and LinkedIn’s customers. Penry will lead from our New York office.
This appointment comes on the heels of David Thacker joining LinkedIn as the vice president of Product for Marketing Solutions in August. In tandem with Penry, David leads the team that is building the next generation of advertising and content marketing products for LinkedIn. David also spent time at Google and Groupon in a variety of product and advertising leadership roles. David is based at our headquarters in Mountain View, CA.
