If you have spent any time in the ocean, you know there are only two ways to deal with a big wave: Ride on top of it, or tumble underneath it. Standing still isn’t an option. And the next wave is always just about to land.
Recently, LinkedIn introduced the next wave of professionals, 120 people under age 35 who are reshaping 10 different industries. The marketing top ten have definitely figured out how to ride the wave. It’s up to the rest of us to decide whether we’ll join them on the wave, or watch them go as we somersault underneath them. If we choose the latter, catching the next wave (and the next and the next) will be that much harder. So we definitely need to come along for the ride.
