How you’ll onboard to Business Manager
Onboarding to LinkedIn’s Business Manager will be optional and can be done whenever it makes sense for your business. LinkedIn has prioritized a non-disruptive experience, so you can keep marketing as normal as you onboard:
• You don’t need to recreate your Ad Accounts or Pages - move existing ones over easily.
• Your live campaigns, billing, and API or data integrations won’t be impacted - they’ll work like before.
• Existing users on Ad Accounts and Pages will retain access - you can invite them to Business Manager or remove them, but they won’t lose access before then.
Onboarding is simply the process of adding your organization’s Ad Accounts and Pages to Business Manager and then inviting your employees that work on them to Business Manager using their work emails.
1. Create your Business Manager: Once the product is publicly available, create your organization’s Business Manager from the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions website. All you need is what you’d like it to be called and your work email.
2. Invite your First Admins: Invite team leads that oversee strategy and manage people to Business Manager.
3. Add your Assets: Admins can use Ad Account IDs and Page names to request to add them to Business Manager. Once approved by existing Ad Account and Page Super Admins, Business Manager will control the Accounts and Pages.
4. Add your team: Business Manager Admins will see all the people that previously had access to those Ad Accounts and Pages and can easily invite them to Business Manager or remove them from across all Ad Accounts and Pages in a click.
5. Create Partnerships: If you work with other organizations, such as agencies and clients, Business Manager Admins can create Business Manager Partnerships with them. This allows each Business Manager to share access to the Ad Accounts and Pages it owns so their Partners can work on them on their behalf.
