Rachel Perkel

Rachel Perkel is Head of Marketing for Wells Fargo Wealth, Brokerage & Retirement (WBR). The WBR division, which generated over $14 billion in revenue in 2014, provides brokerage, investment management, wealth planning, private banking and retirement services to Wells Fargo customers, from beginning investors to high net worth individuals and families.

Ms. Perkel and her team are responsible for managing and promoting WBR sub-brands, including Wells Fargo Advisors, Wells Fargo Private Bank and Abbot Downing. Marketing responsibilities across all these businesses include advertising, digital marketing, social media, product marketing, sales support, new client acquisition, lifecycle marketing and client communications.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Perkel led Marketing for Wells Fargo Wealth Management. Additionally, she served as the Head of Product and was on the Board of Directors of Wells Fargo Investments, where she was also responsible for the WellsTrade online brokerage business. Ms. Perkel has been with Wells Fargo since 2004.

Before joining Wells Fargo, Ms. Perkel was at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. for nine years, where she held Marketing leadership roles in Schwab’s retail and RIA businesses. Ms. Perkel has also worked in product management at Advent Software, as a buy-side analyst at Fidelity Investments and an investment banker at Kidder, Peabody.

Ms. Perkel earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Brandeis University, and her Masters of Business Administration degree from Stanford University. She resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two children.
