What’s Coming: Q4 Release
  • Contract-based ramping to new features: Starting this quarter, all users on shared contracts will now receive access to new feature releases at the same time. This will provide a more seamless experience for users who may be collaborating on Sales Navigator and simplify efforts for Admins planning training or enablement activities.
  • Insights for data-driven sales teams
    • Data Validation: For each CRM contact record owned by Sales Navigator Enterprise Edition seat holders, a new ‘Not at Company Flag’ field will be created and automatically updated using LinkedIn data to indicate whether the contact is associated with the correct Account. You can leverage that information to identify out-of-date contacts, view deals at risk due to decision maker turnover, or find new opportunities by identifying current customers at new companies -- simply by using the out-of-the-box reports in your CRM. This feature is only available to Sales Navigator Enterprise Edition customers with CRM Sync enabled (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales customers).
    • Business Intelligence - a NEW SNAP Integration: The Analytics Integration allows you to seamlessly view and analyze Sales Navigator usage data in your preferred business intelligence platform to increase sales effectiveness and maximize productivity, providing several new workbook templates out-of-the-box. This integration is available to Sales Navigator Enterprise Edition customers using Tableau or Power BI.
    • Usage Reporting Refresh: Usage Reporting is getting a new look and metrics to improve your experience and your team’s effectiveness. This update is currently only available to Sales Navigator Enterprise Edition customers. We anticipate making these changes available to Sales Navigator Team Edition customers in our Q1 Release.
      • New metrics: A by-group view of InMail Acceptance Rate and Coach level gives you more actionable insights in guiding your team’s success.
      • New filters/exports: Filter your charts by custom date range, groups, and users. Improved CSV export allows with date formats and filtering-out inactive users and new column headers to match Account Center.
      • SSI accessibility update: SSI is being removed from the Usage Reporting user interface, but will still be available in the CSV export.
      • Data update: We have changed the way we measure Saved Leads and Saved Accounts to more accurately capture daily activity. All save actions for both Leads and Accounts will now be tracked and measured, giving you a more accurate view of activity levels on a specific day. You may see an increase in the number of Saved Leads and Saved Accounts after the launch of the refresh.
  • Better search results
    • Improved Location Search: More precise and accurate location search, with millions of places updated within Sales Navigator suggested postal codes, cities, regions, states, and provinces.
    • List Search Filters: Apply Account or Lead lists as a filter in Lead Search, making it simpler to identify leads within Account and Lead lists you’ve created or have been shared with you.
    • Funding Events Spotlight:  Companies who raise funding are likely growing and may be looking to scale or invest in new products or services. These Accounts will now show up at the top of search results within the Spotlight tab, so you’ll see quickly if it’s likely a great time to reach out.
  • List Enhancements & Permissions: List owners will be able to designate ‘view only’ or ‘edit’ permissions for collaborators, as well as add a description to their list. List collaborators with edit permissions will be able to add, remove, and comment on Leads or Accounts within a Shared List. Alerts will be sent to collaborators when Leads or Accounts have been added to or removed from a Custom List, and when there are new comments on a Custom List.
  • Homepage: Mentioned in the News Alerts will now open into a panel that slides out from the right side of the homepage, allowing you to view the article without leaving Sales Navigator.
  • New Saved Account Alerts: Introducing two Saved Account Alerts to give you more visibility into important changes for more effective outreach: one when your Saved Account has headcount growth, and the second when you have new hires into senior leadership positions at a Saved Account. These alerts will be delivered for all Saved Accounts--no set up is required.
  • TeamLink Enhancement: Using connection strength scores based on members’ interactions, Sales Navigator matches you with the best contact in your network to reach out to for help when connecting with a Lead.
  • Sales Navigator Application Platform (SNAP) Partners: In addition to our new Business Intelligence category (see ‘Business Intelligence - a NEW SNAP Integration’ above), Oracle CX Sales is releasing an update to include insights on Lead records and Account records, complementing insights already available on Contact records.
