Meet the Client Services Team

The Client Services team is dedicated to providing optimal support to LinkedIn Corporate Solutions clients. The Client Services team is responsible for responding to service requests, helping to resolve technical issues, and providing users with tips and best practices to assist with your success of using LinkedIn’s Corporate products.

We thought we would introduce you to all the team members in a fun way. In addition to the written bios below, we shot some video of each team member. We asked team members to share something interesting about them. Enjoy.

Name: Jocelyn Oakman
Title: Client Services Manager
How Long You’ve Worked at LinkedIn: Since August 2008

Prior to joining LinkedIn in the Internet industry, Jocelyn spent seven years in the Financial Services industry. Within Financial Services she spent time as both a Financial Service Representative and a variable annuity and mutual fund Internal Wholesaler with her Life and Health and Series 6 & 63 licenses. Jocelyn also has over three years of Staffing and Recruiting experience.


Name: Ryan Buhs
Title: Client Services Representative
How Long You’ve Worked at LinkedIn: Since March 2007

Prior to joining LinkedIn, Ryan worked for GiftCertificates.com as an Account Manager supporting one of the company’s largest corporate clients. He joined LinkedIn as a member of the Sales Development Team and helped to shape the way lead generation and qualification is done. Ryan then moved up to a Sales Management role on the Mid-Market Sales Team. After 5 months of closing new business, Ryan joined the Account Management Team, in order to help support these corporate clients after the sale. Ryan also has over two and a half years of experience in Client Development from working at Travelex, a leading provider of foreign currency exchange services.




Name: Jason Jeffreys

How Long You’ve Worked at LinkedIn: Since August 2007

LinkedIn is Jason’s second stint with a dot.com. He worked for GiftCertificates.com in both Seattle and Omaha for 3 and half years managing their merchant base before joining LinkedIn in August of 2007. Prior to that, Jason spent 4 years at a financial services institution, starting in a management trainee program and working his way up through their credit card processing division, supporting and managing a select group of large corporate clients.




Name: Amber Mercado

How Long You’ve Worked at LinkedIn: Since August 2008

Prior to joining LinkedIn in the Internet industry, Amber spent over two years active duty with the United States Air Force Security Forces. Amber also has over five years of solid customer service, sales and dot.com experience.




Name: Al Holzapfel
Title: Client Services Manager
How Long You’ve Worked at LinkedIn: Since August 2007

Prior to joining LinkedIn in August 2007, Al was an employee of a large Midwest bank for 18 years. Al worked in a variety of roles - including fraud Investigations and account management. As a Sr. National Account Manager, Al worked directly with several very large/national retail accounts providing industry updates and developments, and introducing and investigating needs for new products and services. As a client relationship builder, Al managed the process of converting & introducing new merchants to the bank’s products and systems.

How Long You’ve Worked at LinkedIn: Since August 2007

Matt has nearly a decade of support and service experience in a wide range of industries, including transportation, litigation and advertising. He joined LinkedIn as a Customer Support Agent before moving to Client Services.




Name: Deb Nastasi
Title: Client Services Representative
How Long You’ve Worked at LinkedIn: Since June 2008

Prior to joining LinkedIn, Deb spent four years working in the Computer Software industry as a Sales Manager selling, motivating, coaching, and training a sales team of 6-10 Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed key performance profit margin objectives. Deb’s other areas of experience have been in the banking, retail, food, multi-media and insurance industries as an Account Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Sales Training Manager, Human Resources Training/Development and Recruiting.

How Long You’ve Worked at LinkedIn: Since March 2007

Prior to joining LinkedIn, Dennis spent several years in the payment processing business with a local financial institution. His past experience also includes international training and development, privacy, and customer service management.
