A Sonnet for LinkedIn Recruiter

One of the best parts of working at LinkedIn is having the opportunity to collaborate with our Hiring Solutions customers: they’re loyal and passionate about our products, and there’s truly never a dull moment.

It’s not every day, though, that a customer sends us a sonnet expressing her love for LinkedIn Recruiter.  When Edith Rothenberg, Senior Recruiting Consultant at Intellectual Ventures, did just that, we decided we had to share it on this blog.  Enjoy!

LinkedIn Recruiter—How Do I Love Thee?*

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth in Search
My Boolean search can reach, when feeling like the right person will be out there if I just compose the right string.
For the ease of saving a profile to a project, saving an InMail to a template and saving a PDF to a file.
I love thee to the level of every day's
Most difficult req, by sun and candlelight.
I love thee freely, every time you remind me that there are new candidates who might fit my search;
I love thee purely, as the profiles turn into candidates and candidates turn to hires.
I love with a passion put to use
In my old griefs of cold calling, and with my new social networking faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
When I didn’t have LinkedIn Recruiter and had to rely on my searches in regular old LinkedIn
I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! And, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better as you grow.
