Redesigned Job Descriptions on LinkedIn Emphasize Your Company’s Talent Brand

Building a talent brand is top of mind for talent professionals, and with good reason: a strong talent brand yields huge benefits, including increased response rates from candidates and cost savings of up to 50% per hire.*

We’re excited to announce that our redesigned job descriptions give you another opportunity to showcase your company’s talent brand at a critical decision point: right when candidates are viewing your jobs on LinkedIn.

When you take a look at the new job description page, you’ll notice two big changes:

  • We’ve updated the design to match the look and feel of the rest of LinkedIn.com. This cleaner, more inviting design makes it easier for job seekers to quickly find the most relevant information as they’re looking for jobs.
  • We also incorporated content from LinkedIn Career Pages directly onto the job description page. When viewing jobs from companies with LinkedIn Career Pages, job seekers will see additional rich media content (such as slideshares and videos) along with recent company updates and other jobs at the company. This means that that job descriptions are now working harder for our customers with Career Pages.

The result is a more engaging experience for our members and more exposure for our customers with LinkedIn Career Pages. Take a look at the visual below to see how the company-specific content will appear:

Just like LinkedIn Career Pages, the branded content that appears on the job description can be customized and targeted to viewers based on their LinkedIn profile. We have started rolling out the new page in English and it will soon be available to all our members worldwide.
