There is definitely a common theme this week – many of the posts bring up the issue that recruiters need to get more respect. Have a look at Adam Burton’s post to read a very personal reflection on the ups and downs of being a recruiter. On the flip side, if you feel like venting about jobseekers and what ticks you off about them, take a look at James Witcombe’s post.
Finally, the can’t miss piece for me is Cameron Keng’s analysis that employees who don’t switch jobs get an average annual raise of 2%. Job hoppers on the other hand, get upward of 10-20% raise with every move.
