Introducing Our New Job Search App

It’s no secret that your prospects are mobile: Forty three percent of our members visit LinkedIn on their mobile devices, and every day an average of 15 million members look at profiles, 1.45 million view jobs and 44,000 apply from mobile.

That’s why we’ve focused on increasing your productivity while you’re out and about, and making it easier for members to find and apply for your Jobs on the go. And today, it’s why we’re excited to introduce our new LinkedIn Job Search app -- a dedicated Jobs experience that gives our members all the tools they need to find and land their next dream job.

With the Job Search app, members who are looking for new opportunities can even more easily discover, research, and apply to jobs, and learn more about your company along the way. Let’s take a look:

Mobile recruiting is top of mind for most recruiters. But mobilizing recruiting programs isn’t always easy. The new Job Search app gives you a helping hand by:

• Giving members more opportunities to engage with your Jobs. Your LinkedIn Jobs will now have even more visibility and distribution. At the same time, job seekers will have a more robust mobile experience, where they’re able to conduct location-based searches, see recommendations based on their viewing history, and track which jobs they’ve recently viewed or applied to. That means they’re more likely to find not just any job, but the right job.
• Expanding your talent brand efforts automatically. For our customers with LinkedIn Career Pages, we’ll incorporate your rich media content into your job descriptions and mobile Company Page in the app, providing yet another opportunity to showcase your employer brand and culture. The best part: you don’t have to lift a finger.
• Simplifying the mobile application process. If you collect applications in Recruiter, members will be able to apply to your jobs through our seamless Mobile Apply flow in just a few clicks. If you collect applications on an outside career site or ATS, we’ll simply direct members to your regular application destination.
