We took a look at the articles staffing and corporate recruiters shared the most on LinkedIn during the last 7 days and posted them below.
I gotta say – it was both tough and fascinating reading Matt Day’s post. He recounts of story where he was chatting it up with a few start-up guys celebrating a product launch and everything was fine until he mentioned he is a recruiter. At that point, they just ignored him. “I don’t know how to describe the feeling it gave me. How would you feel if someone thought you were scum?” That’s a pretty tough emotion to deal with, especially when your job is to help companies grow by hiring stellar talent. Matt then offers a great analysis on why tech recruiters have a shaky rep and how they can fix this.
