10 Articles Recruiters Shared The Most This Week

September 19, 2014

In case you need a stimulating read, here’s a great list for you.

We took a look at the articles staffing and corporate recruiters shared the most on LinkedIn during the last 7 days and posted them below.

This week Alistair Cox makes a compelling argument for why companies should pay more attention to onboarding employees. According to him, one of the fastest ways to open up your new hire to accepting counter-offers is if you failed to properly welcome and integrate her into the team within the first few weeks. So don’t think that recruitment stops as the new hire signs the contract – make sure that they are set up to succeed as they enter the office. “A well-structured onboarding programme is an investment. Think of it as a type of recruitment insurance,” Alistair says.

And as an interesting side note, Google’s Head of HR Laszlo Bock published his first influencer post this week, getting over a million views in 2 days.
