LinkedIn and Oracle Team Up to Make Hiring More Efficient and Improve Learner Experiences

The rise of automation and the shrinking shelf life of skills is driving widespread transformation in the workplace, especially when it comes to recruiting and developing talent. These changes make it harder than ever to find and develop great talent. It requires HR leaders to be more efficient, so they have more time to focus on growing existing talent and connecting with prospective talent.

That’s why we’re excited to announce we’re deepening our integrations with Oracle to provide new recruiting and learning experiences to customers on Oracle HCM Cloud and Taleo Enterprise Edition.

In the coming months, we’ll be working with Oracle to roll out several integrations including the following:

  • Oracle Recruiting Cloud and Taleo Enterprise Edition integration with LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect (RSC): To simplify the hiring process for its customers Oracle will integrate its talent acquisition systems with RSC, which provides rich insights and end-to-end visibility of the candidate journey from sourcing to hire, and eliminates the need to manually copy and paste between systems to help recruiters work more effectively.

  • LinkedIn Learning integration with Oracle Learning Cloud: To minimize the juggling act of multiple platforms, dashboards and tools while still being able to provide employee access to LinkedIn Learning’s unique content and functionality, Oracle customers will now have automatic course catalog integration. This includes 30-50 updates to new courses every week and deeper integration with Oracle Learning Cloud, which provides admins a centralized location to view and report on learner engagement.

  • LinkedIn-powered sourcing within Oracle Recruiting Cloud and Taleo Enterprise Edition: LinkedIn Recruiter seat holders will be able to source passive candidates from within Oracle systems via Recommended Matches, an integration that recommends relevant candidates for open job reqs, and through an embedded LinkedIn search experience.

Employees at companies using Oracle HCM Cloud will be able to opt-in to import their LinkedIn profile into their employer’s corporate database. Additionally, to improve the candidate referral process, Oracle is planning a deeper integration with the LinkedIn platform, whereby any candidate who is applying for a role via Oracle Recruiting Cloud and Taleo Enterprise Connect can choose to discover and InMail their LinkedIn connections who can refer them for the job.

Through these integrations we hope to deliver more streamlined, powerful experiences for talent professionals to help them find the right talent, and to keep employees engaged and learning.

These integrations are expected to begin rolling out in 2019.
