Introducing North America’s 100 Most InDemand Employers of 2015 [INFOGRAPHIC]

Today we unveiled North America’s 100 Most InDemand Employers of 2015 at our annual recruiting event, Talent Connect. The list, reflecting an analysis of billions of interactions between companies and members on LinkedIn, honors the companies that more than 129 million American and Canadian members show the most affinity toward.

These sought-after companies share a common thread: a powerful employer brand that shows off their people, projects, culture, and the community they’ve created around the work they do.

Missing the mark with your employer brand can mean missing out on the next great candidate. Our research shows that the top reason professionals decline taking a job with a new company is a lack of knowledge of what it’s like to work for that organization.  

That’s a mistake companies can’t afford to make, given the growing skills gap and the candidate’s job market.   

The good news is that any organization, regardless of size, industry, or location, can build a talent brand that captures candidates’ attention, and keeps your employees fully engaged.

The InDemand list takes into consideration:

  • Member awareness of a company on LinkedIn (for example, how many members have viewed your employees’ profiles, or connected with them, in the past year)

  • Member engagement with a company on LinkedIn (for example, how many members follow your company’s Company Page or have viewed your Company Page or Career Page in the past year)

  • Member interest in Jobs on LinkedIn (for example, how many members have viewed or applied for your jobs in the past year). This year we added a new measurement to our methodology. We’re now including views or applications to a company’s jobs posted on LinkedIn, including limited listings.

In a nutshell, higher talent brand awareness and engagement among members on LinkedIn equals a more effective talent brand and a higher InDemand ranking.
