Companies Hiring Recruiters Right Now

As hiring has slowed across the U.S., recruiters are some of the first to feel the pressure. For many of them, this has meant changes in bandwidth, commission structures, and even job security.

The good news is that many organizations are hiring recruiters, especially those needing to fill essential roles in healthcare, warehousing, and tech.

Below you can see a list of the employers with the most open recruiting roles in the U.S., according to LinkedIn Talent Insights

Tech tops the list of companies with the most recruiting job posts open in the U.S., perhaps because their operations are less disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, or are more critical because of it. Amazon, for example, recently announced it was planning to hire 100,000 U.S. workers due to increased demand for deliveries.

Healthcare and disaster relief organizations are also in need of recruiters, along with companies in professional and financial services.

Final thoughts

Recruiters are often among the first people to feel the pain when hiring slows — but they’re still extremely important in both the short-term and long-term outlooks.

Today, they can be critical partners for the most understaffed and strained workforces, like healthcare workers. And once we are able to return to normalcy,  recruiters will be absolutely essential in helping people go back to work.

Methodology

Based on data from LinkedIn Talent Insights for a range of recruiting roles in the United States as of April 8, 2020. Company rankings reflect the number of open job posts, not necessarily the number of people being hired (e.g., two candidates could be hired from one job post). Some companies categorized as staffing firms for this analysis additionally offer broader services, such as consulting.
