“One in four women are considering downshifting their careers or leaving the workforce due to Covid-19.” That’s according to the new Women in the Workplace report by McKinsey & Company and LeanIn.org, which goes on to say that “without bold steps, we could erase all the progress we’ve made toward gender diversity in the six years of this study.” In addition to looking at how the pandemic has affected women at work, the report offers steps companies can take to build a more equal workplace and prevent millions of women from leaving their jobs.
