Wendy Murphy is HR Director for LinkedIn Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). With over 313 million members worldwide, LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network.

Appointed in April 2012, Wendy is focused on enabling and inspiring talent at Linkedin to transform themselves, the organisation and the world. Prior to her current role, Wendy led LinkedIn’s HR Business Partnering team which enabled her to develop a strategic HR platform required to support the hyper growth and future scaling of the LinkedIn business in the region.

Before joining LinkedIn, Wendy was Group HR Director for Digicel’s Caribbean and Central America markets based in Jamaica. In her capacity as HR Director she managed the HR function across 26 countries, and was part of the Senior Management team that helped transform the company from its startup roots to the largest mobile telecommunications operator in the Caribbean.

Wendy’s focus and dedication has always been in the Talent space, and has worked across many diverse industries from Telcoms to Airlines, as well as more established businesses such as Dell.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in European Business & Languages from National College of Ireland, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources and a variety of certificates including Project Management and employment law in Ireland.
