By registering for ANZ LEAD Retreat, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions

General

  • ANZ LEAD Retreat is reserved for LinkedIn Talent Solutions, and Learning Solutions customers expressly invited by LinkedIn Singapore Pte. Ltd., Australia Branch (“LinkedIn”) to attend.  All invitations are exclusive and non transferable. Firms and individuals that do not meet this initial requirement will not be eligible to attend. Additionally, Staffing firms and Marketing agencies do not meet the requirement to attend.  LinkedIn reserves the right to cancel any individual, or company registrations at any time if the stated initial requirements are not met. Your registration for ANZ LEAD Retreat is not considered confirmed until you meet the requirements.

  • LinkedIn will cover the cost of accommodation, travel while in the Hunter Region, and meals that are part of the agenda.  All other incidentals are not included and must be covered by the individual.  

Age Policy

  • Any person attending  ANZ LEAD Retreat must be at least 18 years or older and is considered a minor if less than 21 years of age.

  • Minors are prohibited from attending any networking or evening functions during the conference where alcohol may be served.

Substitutions

Name change substitutions are not allowed.  All invitations to the ANZ LEAD Retreat are exclusive to the individual who has been invited and are not transferable.  If you are unable to attend the retreat please inform asmoore@linkedin.com or your account manager. 

 

Intellectual Property

  • Materials provided by LinkedIn remain the intellectual property of LinkedIn Corporation and its partners who assert their right to worldwide copyright unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.  

  • You consent that LinkedIn (or its designees who have been specifically employed by LinkedIn to make on-site recordings) will be performing certain recordings of the event including sections where you may appear; these recordings may be done by any means including, without limitation, electronic recording, film, videotape, audio tape and photography (the “Recordings”) without compensation of any kind to you.  You agree that LinkedIn shall be the copyright owner of the Recordings. You understand that LinkedIn is not obligated to use the Recordings.

  • To the best of your knowledge, your acts and statements contained in the Recordings will not violate any right of any other person or company.

  • You release LinkedIn from any claims and causes of action you may have now or in the future based upon defamation, invasion of right of privacy, publicity or personality, copyright or trademark infringement and unfair competition in connection with the Recordings and LinkedIn’s use of the Recordings and you agree not to institute any legal action based on any of the grounds specified in this section.

  • All the rights granted to LinkedIn by you hereunder are irrevocable and perpetual, and you waive all rights to any equitable relief in connection herewith.

Photography and Video Recording; License

Please be advised that photographs and video will be taken at all ANZ LEAD Retreat functions for future use by LinkedIn.  By entering the event, you consent to LinkedIn photographing and using your image and likeness (including the public content of your LinkedIn profile)  without the expressed written permission of those included within the photography/video, for any LinkedIn business purpose in any medium, including for marketing materials or research and case studies

Force Majeure

  • In the event that LinkedIn is prevented from carrying out its obligations as a result of any cause beyond its control, such as but not limited to acts of god, war, acts of terrorism, airline flight cancellations, strikes, lock-outs, flood, commercially unfeasible, and failure of third parties to deliver goods or services, LinkedIn shall be relieved of its obligations and liabilities for as long as fulfillment is prevented.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LinkedIn (including its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents) will not be liable in connection with the ANZ LEAD Retreat or these Terms and Conditions for any personal injury, loss or damage to personal property, lost profits, lost business opportunities, or any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.  The limitations of liability stated in this section do not apply to liability for fraud, gross negligence, or intentional misconduct.

Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of New South Wales and Australia. You and LinkedIn both agree that the forum and venue for all claims and disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions will be the courts located in Sydney, Australia.
