Our customers and partners engage with LinkedIn to grow their businesses and become more successful, so our focus is on how we can continue to help them do just that. Businesses today are able to reach and engage their audiences at unprecedented levels on LinkedIn. As a result, LinkedIn Marketing Solutions has accelerated growth to 46% year-over-year in revenue.
As our business continues to gain momentum, we recognize the importance of continuously investing in our technology and products so that we can continue to innovate and deliver solutions that grow with our customers and drive greater ROI. All the while, we keep member privacy, data security and trust as core to guiding our development principles.
Most recently, we launched a new Pages experience to enable businesses to foster constructive conversations with LinkedIn’s community of more than 630 million members. We also launched objective-based advertising in Campaign Manager to help our customers customize campaign creation experiences according to their objectives. These offerings have helped brands and marketers better engage with their professional audiences, with 78% of B2B marketers rating LinkedIn as the most effective social media platform at helping their organization achieve specific objectives.
As part of our continued investment in our technology platform, today we are announcing that we have entered into an agreement to acquire Drawbridge, Inc. We believe Drawbridge’s team and technology will allow us to accelerate the capabilities of our Marketing Solutions platform, helping our customers better reach and understand their professional audiences and measure the ROI of their campaigns across mobile and desktop.
As we integrate Drawbridge’s technology into LinkedIn following the closing of the transaction, we will continue to maintain the strong controls our members and customers have over the data they choose to share with us. See here for more information on how to manage your advertising preferences.
