Emily Ketchen

Emily Ketchen is Vice President of Marketing for HP Printing and Personal Systems Group (PPS) in Asia-Pacific & Japan, responsible for integrated marketing and communications to drive demand and revenue.

A respected strategist, Emily has specialized in technology marketing since 1996 and joined HP in 2011. Emily and her team drive the planning, prioritization and delivery of comprehensive marketing strategy and plan to support PPS in the region. They partner with the Business Units, the HP Centers of Excellence marketing leaders and regional leadership to drive innovative and effective marketing that delivers business results.

Prior to HP, Emily was Director of Global Agency Relations at LinkedIn, responsible for the relationships with all major advertising and marketing agencies around the world. Before that, Emily spent five years at McCann Worldgroup San Francisco as Senior Vice President and Group Account Director for the HP’s personal systems business in the Americas. A leader and collaborator, she worked closely with several agency networks that handled different aspects of the HP business, ensuring seamless integration worldwide. In addition to HP, Emily led the iShares US business and the North America portion of the Cathay Pacific Airlines business for McCann Worldgroup.

During her 26 plus years marketing career, Emily has held roles at Publicis & Hal Riney, Grey San Francisco, Dell, Poppe Tyson/Bozell Advertising, Falcon Cable TV and Iberia Airlines of Spain.

Emily holds a degree in international relations from Pitzer College, part of the Claremont Colleges. Fluent in Spanish and French, she studied at the University of Paris, Sorbonne, while pursuing her undergraduate degree.

Emily currently holds the post of Chairman of the Mopria Alliance, an industry alliance created to advance mobile printing technology and ubiquity. She resides in Singapore with her husband and their children, Isabella, 10 and Lucy Jane, 5.
