Siemens´s main Marketing goal was to promote their professional training programs:

  1. Sitrain, a full-fledged program that provides training in automation, electrical installations, distribution and control of energy, among others.
  2. Siemens Cerca Web, a free online training platform that offers a wide spectrum of informative briefings related to Siemens’s industrial products.

Solution

Siemens chose LinkedIn as the social network of choice due to its professional structure and the possibility that the tool offered to reach Siemens’s target audience. As such, it was the most direct way to reach Siemens’s potential customers.

They used Standard Display Ads and the exclusive format of Spotlight Ad, which improves the CTR and engagement rates compared to traditional banners. Both ads were 300x250.
