What if I don’t have a LinkedIn account?

To use LinkedIn Referrals, you’ll need to have, or create a LinkedIn account. And even if you don’t have connections on LinkedIn, you’ll still have access to easily find and search all open jobs at your company, refer candidates, and track your candidate’s progress inside LinkedIn Referrals.

How will I stay informed of my candidate’s progress?

LinkedIn Referrals will automatically send you an email any time one of your referral candidates has a change in their status: interview, offer, hired or not hired. You can control the email frequency, or turn these emails off, within your personal settings inside Referrals.

Will LinkedIn be contacting people in my network when I sign up for Referrals?

LinkedIn Referrals will not message anyone in your network: that’s up to you to reach out and contact your connections by sending a LinkedIn message or an email.
