George Pappachen

George Pappachen is EVP of Strategy and Business Development for Kantar Media and Managing Director of Kantar’s Global Ad Expenditure operations.

George works with Kantar Media’s executive management team to develop strategic plans, drive new digital business development, strengthen both existing and new third-party relationships and coordinate with Kantar Media’s affiliate countries.

Previously, George was Global Strategy & Business Development Director at WPP’s Data Alliance, while also serving as Kantar’s Chief Privacy Officer. George has held various senior leadership posts over the course of his career at WPP, including leading WPP’s research collaboration with Google and working with the group’s top revenue clients. Prior to that George guided Dynamic Logic’s emerging media solutions division and launched its flagship mobile product, procuring launch clients and initial sales bookings.

George has been recognized for his work as a researcher, having received ARF’s Rising Star designation and ESOMAR publication on several new media and data topics. George guest lectures at leading business schools including MIT, Stanford, and Harvard and serves on several external and internal committees and advisory boards. George is a graduate of the University of Florida and holds post-graduate degrees from Fordham University and St. John’s University.
