Objectives of this role
- Creating high-quality animations for various projects, including videos, advertisements, games, and promotional materials.
- Collaborating with the creative team to develop concepts, storyboards, and design elements for animations.
- Using animation software and tools to produce 2D and/or 3D animations that align with project specifications and creative vision.
- Revising and refining animations based on feedback from clients, directors, and team members.

Your tasks
- Develop storyboards and visual concepts for animations based on project briefs and client requirements.

- Sync animations with audio elements, including voiceovers, sound effects, and music.
- Collaborate with illustrators, designers, and other team members to ensure cohesive and visually appealing animations.
- Optimise animations for various platforms, including web, mobile, and broadcast.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior animators and other team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to animation and rendering.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and software to enhance your skills and the quality of your work continually.
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience as an Animator, Motion Graphics Artist, or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of animation styles and techniques.
- Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom, Maya, or Blender.
- Strong knowledge of animation principles and techniques.
- Excellent storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail, composition, and timing.
- Extraordinary artistic and creative abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
