Your tasks

  • Oversee and manage medical and clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and ethical practices.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive policies and procedures related to medical care tailored to meet the company’s needs.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other departments, providing medical advice and consultation to executives and stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement, monitoring key performance indicators and implementing initiatives to optimise healthcare delivery.
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams, encouraging collaboration, communication and knowledge sharing among medical professionals and staff.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including medical associations, government bodies and community organisations, to promote healthcare initiatives and partnerships.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, research and best practices in healthcare to ensure that the organisation remains at the forefront of medical advancements.  

Required skills and qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in medicine and registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council.
  • A valid licence to practise medicine in India.
  • 10+ years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting with 5+ years of experience in a managerial or administrative role.
  • Showcase a track record of successfully implementing strategic initiatives, driving organisational growth, and improving patient outcomes.
  • Proficiency in medical laws and regulations in India and staying updated with the latest medical advancements.
  • Experience developing and implementing procedures related to medical care.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Exhibit strong business acumen and understanding of healthcare economics, including budgeting, financial management and resource allocation.
  • Show proficiency in strategic planning, risk management and crisis response in healthcare settings. 

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • An advanced degree in healthcare management, public health or a related field.
  • Demonstrate expertise in healthcare technology, digital transformation and data analytics to drive innovation and improve clinical processes.
  • Possess adequate knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards and legal requirements in India.
  • Ability to navigate complex business relationships and multiple stakeholders.
