  • Research and be up-to-date with the dynamic world of science and laboratory techniques
  • Perform administrative tasks that come with the lab assistant job such as handling phone calls, filling forms and maintaining documented paperwork  

Required skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, biological sciences or a related discipline
  • Prior experience working as a lab assistant or a junior lab assistant
  • Keen understanding of laboratory practices and procedures
  • Dexterity and precision to perform experiments
  • Ability to work long hours while standing
