Cristina M. Raecke

Cristina M. Raecke is the Executive Director of Marketing and Recruitment for FIU Online, FloridaInternational University’s fully online division.  She currently oversees the marketing, recruitment,enrollment, business development and success coaching for FIU Online’s 30 fully online bachelor andmaster degrees.

Cristina has 23 years of experience in marketing, recruitment, media relations, and businessdevelopment. Prior to joining FIU as the College of Business executive director for marketing, sheoversaw the recruitment and admission for the University of Miami’s graduate business programs.

She has a diverse and rich professional background that includes working in the telecommunicationsindustry with Lucent Technologies and Nortel Networks, as well as in the professional services arenawith one of the largest law firms in Miami, Greenburg Traurig.  She worked with the leading Spanish-language media company in the U.S., The Univision Television Networks, as Manager of Marketing andCommunications for Univision, TeleFutura and Galavision.  Cristina has also served as Manager forMarketing and Community Relations for the Miami Downtown Development Authority.

She is a graduate from the University of Richmond and has an MBA from the University of Texas atAustin, where she was a Consortium for Graduate Study in Management Fellow.  She resides in Miamiwith her husband Alex, an EMBA graduate from the University of Miami, and their 9-year old son,Alexander, and 4-year old daughter Catalina.
