Many of these companies are gearing towards overseas expansion, but face several challenges in Asia’s diverse markets – most notably, difficulties in attracting the right talent, scaling their talent acquisition capabilities and a dearth of capital to support manpower resources. Unfortunately, these drawbacks are hindering local businesses from expanding across the region.

Acknowledging these critical concerns, International Enterprise (IE) Singapore, the government agency promoting international trade and partnering Singapore companies in going global, and LinkedIn, the world's largest professional network, have joined forces to help Singaporean enterprises overcome these challenges. Combining their expertise, IE Singapore and LinkedIn will empower, educate and enable businesses by sharing best practices and talent insights to build an intelligent recruitment strategy. Accelerating LinkedIn’s vision to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce, this collaboration will enable SMEs to transform their employer brand and attract the right talent across Asia.

A knowledge-sharing partnership at its core, this initiative will provide a series of workshops on topics ranging from social recruitment, employer branding, and data-driven talent acquisition, in conjunction with hiring strategies and tapping on technology to empower SMEs to make better hiring decisions.
