Lithan Hall

Lithan is a Singapore-based digital skills accelerator with eight fully-equipped learning centers located in major cities across Singapore, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, and China. In the past five years, Lithan has close to 13,000 graduates and awarded about 9,000 qualifications and certifications. Lithan Academy (Singapore) is a four-year Edutrust Certified, WSG Approved Training Organisation (ATO) and a recognised CET Centre under NICF.

Through this partnership, Lithan will educate companies on how they can leverage on digital platforms like LinkedIn to hire the best talent and brand themselves as an Employer of Choice in existing and new markets overseas.

Singapore Polytechnic

Singapore Polytechnic Business School was appointed the Sector Coordinator and Lead for the Human Resource (HR) Sector in November 2015. As the Sector Lead, the role of the SP Business School is to coordinate with all polytechnics and Institute of Technical Education to ensure smooth rolling out of initiatives for the SkillsFuture Earn & Learn Programme, Enhanced internships and Skills-based Modular courses for HR skills development and deepening. As the workplace becomes more digital and with growing emphasis on productivity and innovation, companies must constantly respond to these changes or run the risks of lagging behind their competitors. HR is a key area highlighted in the Industry Transformation maps of various sectors to drive business change and growth.

In recognising the importance of HR in organisations, each year about 400 students who are trained in HR discipline graduate from the five polytechnics. The wave of digitisation has opened up many opportunities to our graduates to add value to the various domains of HR including recruitment and company branding. Graduates who are IT savvy and adept to the use of social media will be in a good position to take on such HR job of the future. This partnership with LinkedIn and the industry partners is an excellent platform for our graduates to pick up skill sets to thrive in this new economy.
