Clive Cooper

Clive Cooper is the Head of S&P Capital IQ Sales in the Pacific Region, managing strategy, business development and marketing across Australia and New Zealand.

Clive opened the Sydney office of Capital IQ 6 years ago when there were 3 staff across all of APAC, and has been an integral member of the leadership team that has grown the book of business year-on-year. Clive uses his financial knowledge from his time spent at Credit Suisse, to work closely with some of Australia’s leading investment bankers, private equity funds, accountants, universities, government departments, corporates, credit analysts and investment managers. He understands the power of reputation and relationships, and has helped roll out LinkedIn to the global sales-force to leverage and extend these positive connections.

Clive competes on the International Duathlon Circuit, is President of the Sydney University Blues Association, and Beach + Water Captain at the Palm Beach Surf Life Saving Club. He is also an active member of a # of Associations: AVCAL, NZVCA, TMA, INFINZ, NZICA, FTA, FINSIA and is heavily involved with the CFA institutes in the region.
