AI skills built since launch
With LinkedIn Learning Career Hub, Egeneers aren’t waiting for a roadmap — they’re identifying their own skill gaps and charting their own paths forward.

THE CHALLENGE
Egen is a global technology services company that uses tools like Google Cloud, Salesforce, and a full stack of cloud and AI platforms to serve customers across healthcare, the public sector, and beyond. As AI, automation, and data reshaped how Egen serves its customers, the organization needed its people to keep pace. Keeping skills up-to-date was mission-critical for Egen’s business.
Legacy instructor-led training couldn’t match that speed. Fragmented programs, varying training quality, multiple sources for skills content and multiple sources for analyzing training data requirements failed to give leaders visibility. They couldn’t see where skill gaps were forming — or how to close them fast enough.
THE SOLUTION
Egen chose LinkedIn because it was a platform Egeneers already used. “Every technology professional who wants to build a new skill first opens LinkedIn,” Srividhya says. Hosting upskilling inside a platform people use daily meant no adoption battle — just learning built into the flow of work.
The Egen team built anticipation before rolling out LinkedIn Learning. They worked with the Egen People Council to gauge interest, lead conversations, and let people register before a single license existed. "You have to show people the trailer before they'll make time to go to the theater. The LinkedIn Learning team gave our engineering teams a preview of the platform's capabilities before we committed,” Srividhya says.
Leadership positioned LinkedIn Learning as an investment in people, not a compliance activity. By the time LinkedIn Learning Career Hub went live, demand for the product was already there.
Three features made LinkedIn Learning Career Hub the right choice for Egen:
Career Hub surfaces how Egen's internal skills compare against real-time signals from LinkedIn's 1 billion+ member network — showing leaders exactly where gaps are forming and which ones the organization needs to close first.
Egeneers use LinkedIn Learning to not only learn, but apply their new skills in real time. AI-powered role play puts them in realistic scenarios, such as having difficult conversations with their manager, and gives feedback in the moment in a safe space to improve.
Curated, tracked pathways replaced one-off training with learning tied directly to organizations needs and career goals. This gives every Egeneer a continuous record of progress and a clear view of what comes next.
To sustain momentum, the team built Indian holiday-themed learning campaigns. The Tricolor of Transformation (based on the colors of India’s flag) drew 180+ Egeneers into growth and self-development. “Learning Lights” (based on Diwali, the festival of lights in India) inspired 140+ more. Points, public recognition, and demo days made learning visible across the organization. Learning became a collective celebration, not a checkbox.
THE RESULTS
Across productivity, leadership, data, and creativity — with AI skills leading. Artificial intelligence, AI for business, AI productivity, and AI agents each topped the charts. The learning wasn't generic. It was exactly what Egen needed next.
Sustained engagement, not just launch momentum. With 70% of Egeneers logging in monthly and 71% returning as repeat learners, LinkedIn Learning became part of how Egeneers work — not a program they completed once.
Based on adoption and impact, Egen expanded its LinkedIn Learning licenses and evolved the relationship into a long-term strategic partnership. Continuous learning fuels internal mobility, leadership readiness, and a culture that keeps top talent growing with us.
LinkedIn Learning accelerated our people's growth in ways I couldn't have predicted. Someone who was an analytics consultant is now developing AI agents and helping our business as an insights partner. When we invest in people’s growth, it shows up in our business’ efficiency.
