Over the past decade, many of us have launched Diversity & Inclusion initiatives hoping to make employees of all backgrounds and experiences feel welcome at our organisations.
But many D&I initiatives fail.
D&I is necessary to find and hire a diverse workforce, and to ensure fair practices, but isn’t sufficient. It doesn’t grab our hearts. What we really want is to feel that we belong, that we matter.
