Caroline Andrews is VP of Human Resources at DHL Express UK and Ireland, having been appointed in July 2013. She holds responsibility for all HR activities including Rewards and Recognition, Learning, Development and Talent, Recruitment, HR Shared Services, Payroll, HR Information Systems, Business Partnering and Health, Safety & Environment.  

Since joining DHL, Caroline has enabled a core focus on employee engagement as part of the focus on DPDHL’s ‘Employer of Choice’ bottom line, in support of ensuring we have the right talent, who are motivated to deliver our Express business strategy in relation to great service quality, loyal customers and a profitable network. Primarily her time is focused on ensuring that DHL is a great place to work; recognising that what makes DHL great as a company, and sets us apart from our competitors, is our talented people.  The success our business enjoys is the result of our peoples’ commitment and contribution, and that is why Reward and Recognition is a key part of Caroline’s role.

Caroline has over 20 years HR experience, gained in a variety of different industries including FMCGs, Logistics, Retail, Telecommunications and Manufacturing, at companies such as Coca-Cola Enterprises, The Carphone Warehouse, Warburtons and Christian Salvesen.  Additionally, Caroline holds a Business Degree, Masters in HR, and has Fellow Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, in addition to an MBA.
