Talent Hub Customer FAQs
1. Why is LinkedIn retiring Talent Hub?
Our top priority has always been helping our customers hire more efficiently, and we are continuously optimizing our solutions to do just that. After careful consideration, we have decided to focus on delivering more value and integrations to our core Recruiter products. We are bringing key LinkedIn Talent Hub features into LinkedIn Recruiter to help recruiters engage with candidates during more stages of the hiring process, beyond just sourcing.
2. When will LinkedIn retire Talent Hub?
LinkedIn will be retiring the Talent Hub product offering on December 31, 2024.
3. What does this mean for Talent Hub customers?
Talent Hub customers who have a renewal date in 2023 have the option to request extended LTH access for one year, free of charge, in order to have enough time to switch to a new ATS partner. To request an extension, customers need to reach out directly to their Account Director before December 31, 2023. If a customer chooses to not extend Talent Hub access, they will no longer be able to sign into Talent Hub after their next contract renewal date, but will still be able to access LinkedIn Recruiter if a valid contract exists.
4. What will happen to my ATS data and how do I move my data to another ATS system?
As long as you retain your Recruiter contract, you will have access to all candidate notes, custom fields, tags, scorecard data, interview schedule data, and attachments. However, there may be some data that does not get carried over.
Visit this Help Center article for details on how to export your data from Talent Hub and what data is available for export. Note that this export functionality will not be available once your Talent Hub subscription expires. We highly recommend you please perform all data exports prior to debooking. Follow your ATS provider's instructions for how to import that data into their software.
5. What ATS partners do you recommend Talent Hub customers switch to?
If you would like to switch to an ATS platform that can help you maximize the value of your LinkedIn products through various integration packages, check out our preferred partners.
For further guidance on how to enable those integrations, navigate here.
6. What happens to the licenses and permissions on my existing Talent Hub contract when we move to the Recruiter product?
Any paid license types (e.g. Project creator seats who do not have a Recruiter license) will need to be parked within 10 days or the dashboard will be in violation. An admin user will need to remove access for all basic users and decide which Project creator seats to assign Recruiter licenses to, and which to park. Instructions for how to park a license can be found here. For details related to licenses, roles, and permissions in Recruiter, please refer to this article.
7. What Talent Hub features will I lose when I move to Recruiter?
The following features will no longer be available for you to use when moved off of Talent Hub:
• Panel interview scheduling (you will still be able to use 1:1 Scheduling from your InMails)
• Interview Scorecards
• Specific third party integrations (you will still be able to use email and calendar integrations and certain video integrations)
• Talent Hub career site
• Talent Hub specific reporting
○ Disposition reports
○ Source reports
○ Summary report KPIs (e.g., Time to Fill, Time to Hire, Offer Acceptance Rate)
○ Custom Applicant report
• Resume keyword search
• Limited listing job postings
• Hiring Process
8. When I move off of Talent Hub to Recruiter, what will happen to my free job posts?
When your Talent Hub dashboard is migrated to Recruiter, your job posts will also be migrated. However, these jobs which were free to post via Talent Hub, cannot be renewed and will expire on their set expiration date (30 days after posting). You will then need to use a job slot to post a new job. If you would like to post basic jobs for free from an ATS, you will need to contact sales to set up job wrapping for your contract.
9. What happens if customers are using the Career Site feature from Talent Hub?
If you are currently utilizing one of the Talent Hub career site options (e.g., out of box, XML feed, or API), please note that the career site will no longer be active if no action is taken at the time of renewal, or by December 31, 2024 if you do choose to renew. We advise you to ensure you make plans to change or update your career site in advance.
10. What happens to the partner integrations I have currently enabled in Talent Hub?
We have requested our Talent Hub integration partners to continue support of the integrations through the retirement date of December 31, 2024. If any integrations become discontinued before then, we will be sure to give customers (who have integrations enabled) advanced notice and any instructions they need to ensure a smooth transition. There is no action to take regarding this at this time.
Certain integrations, such as email and video integrations, will be available on Recruiter even after Talent Hub deprecates.
