Factorial elevates recruitment success by boosting candidate volume and quality through LinkedIn’s Hiring Enterprise Program
SUCCESS STORY
Experiencing hypergrowth and multi-market expansion, HR and business management software brand Factorial faced significant talent acquisition challenges scaling the team in line with their business growth. Turning to LinkedIn for help, the company needed to optimise their talent acquisition processes and improve the quality of candidate searches, while reducing time-consuming administrative tasks. Through the collaboration, Factorial transformed their talent acquisition process, enabling rapid and effective scaling in a competitive market.
Today, over 85% of Factorial’s candidates come from LinkedIn. The quality of hires has improved too, aligning with the company’s focus on excellence. The partnership with LinkedIn through their Hiring Enterprise Program also helped them to save time, reduce the administrative workload, and increase awareness of Factorial with jobseekers. In fact, the company’s global LinkedIn page grew by 40,000 followers in the last year, and a total of 106,000 new followers since the beginning of their LinkedIn journey.
THE CHALLENGE
Streamlining recruitment efforts that support rapid growth
Considered the fastest-expanding HR company in Europe, Factorial has grown by 3x yearly since 2019.
This hypergrowth, combined with expanding into multiple markets globally, meant they needed to recruit a large number of qualified candidates in a short period of time.
Factorial faced multiple challenges streamlining their recruitment process. The manual effort required to post job openings across various platforms, including LinkedIn, made the process more time-consuming. Additionally, the structure of the company—which is segmented by areas, regions, and IT—added complexity to the hiring process, especially considering the urgency to fill positions with tight deadlines.
Factorial found it particularly difficult to recruit for certain positions as a result of the growing tech market, increased competition, and limited branding in German and Eastern markets.
THE SOLUTION
Integrating platforms and increasing the abundance of candidates
Implementing LinkedIn into their ATS streamlined Factorial’s recruitment process. From utilising just six job slots in 2020, the company has made LinkedIn’s Hiring Enterprise Program a key driver in their hiring success and employer branding initiatives, with over 200 active jobs per month on average over the last two and a half years.
The talent acquisition team received direct training from LinkedIn on how to use dashboards, software, and AI to their benefit. Although user activation for different hiring managers initially posed a challenge, Factorial’s IT team actively assisted in the process. Factorial also found LinkedIn’s features such as Groups to be user-friendly, allowing the easy addition of candidates to the pipeline. Any duplicated messages or activities between LinkedIn and Factorial’s ATS were also quickly identified and resolved.
The partnership improved Factorial’s business strategy as well. The company leveraged LinkedIn's vast network to incorporate outbound recruitment as one of their main sources of talent acquisition. The use of a single platform for massive searches allowed for improved teamwork and collaboration within Factorial’s recruitment team, while the cost savings associated with finding candidates for hard-to-fill positions allowed Factorial to better navigate the challenges of hypergrowth and multiple market expansion.
THE RESULTS
High levels of engagement
• +20% engagement rate
• 40K new followers within a year

• 30% InMail acceptance rate
