Recruit better, faster. Learn why & how 7 million people changed jobs.

It’s hard to get passive candidates’ attention. It’s even harder to convince them to join your company. How can you cut through the clutter and get them to respond to your jobs?

We looked at 7 million LinkedIn members to find out how they changed jobs. Then, we surveyed 10.5K of them to ask why they switched. We discovered some best practices you can use to woo both active and passive candidates to your organization. Here are a few:

  1. It’s not all about the money. Above all, people want career growth. To attract the best candidates, offer them career opportunities, not jobs.

  2. Talent brand actually matters. People’s biggest obstacle to changing jobs is not knowing what it’s really like to work somewhere. You have the power to fix that by ramping up your recruitment marketing and showcasing your employer branding.

  3. Small is the new big. People are downsizing, flocking to small organizations. Attract and recruit entrepreneurial employees by showing off your small company qualities.
