Objectives of this Role

  • Develop and implement department-wide quality control (QC) measures
  • Recommend new procedures to increase efficiency of day-to-day operations
  • Maintain communication with Operations Manager, staff, and vendors to ensure adherence to protocol across chief touchpoints
  • Assist the Operations Manager in developing, planning, and coordinating operational activities
  • Oversee inventory management practices and improve as necessary
  • Ensure operational legal compliance with state and federal regulations

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Monitor day-to-day operations, while tracking and reporting on performance and recommending actionable improvements as necessary
  • Order supplies and manage inventory to ensure adequate stocking and adherence to budget limitations, coordinating with accounting and finance departments
  • Create procedures and protocols (such as checklists) and distribute to staff
  • Communication and coordination with staff (including executive operations team) and vendors
  • Train and onboard new employees on operational protocols to ensure all staff members adhere to standard operating procedures (SOP’s)

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven organizational skills, including time management
  • Project management experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Self sufficiency; the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an operational role of similar capacity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software
