Skills and qualifications

  • Proficient with standard invoicing and billing systems — and spreadsheet technology
  • Knowledgeable about standard accounting and bookkeeping principles and best practices
  • Has significant experience with productivity suites, including Microsoft Office and Google Docs, with a high degree of aptitude for learning new systems and approaches
  • Highly detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple competing priorities at once
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Adept at solving complex financial problems in a timely manner

Preferred qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in an accounting role at a firm
  • Able to diligently handle complex, confidential company information with care
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Competent with at least one financial planning software package
